        Kev Dot Kruz entered into the music industry as a Graphic artist for Lyor Cohen and Russell Simmons at Rush Artist Management. Soon after he became an intern at the legendary Calliope Studios studying music engineering under Bob Power. 

       He assisted recording sessions for artists such as Masters at Work, Third Base, KMD, Gangstarr, Bobby Kondors, Prince Paul and others. 

       Kruz's lifelong love of music soon translated into a budding Dj career as well as a career as a Rapper beginning with a spot in Mark Ronson's very first professional band.
 

       At college in Atlanta, Ga., Kev Kruz became an influential Dj, Event Promoter and Hip-Hop Mc in the 1990's. Both in Ny and Atlanta he opened either as a Dj or Mc, for acts such as Afrika Bambaata, Clark Kent, The Pharcyde, The Fugees, Gangstarr, MOP and many more, playing at some of the East Coast's most important music venues.

       Kev returned to the House Music scene in 2010 after a long stint as the frontman/MC for the notorious Punk/Rap outfit Duese Gangsta with Cx Kidtronik.

       Quickly signed by Mikki Afflick's Soul Sun Soul label, Kruz has gone on to write, record, produce and perform on tracks for a diverse set of notable House labels. Todd Terry's “In House”, Oscar P's “Open Bar”, Osunlade's “Yoruba Soul”, Natural Essence Media and many more...He's also penned and produced tracks with Ny/Nj area vocalists such as Davis Walker, Darryl D'Bonneau, Dawn Souluvn Williams and Cassio Ware. 

       As a Dj, Event Promoter and A+R Kev Kruz has definitely made an impact on the Nyc underground scene. Gigs such as the legendary Shelter Party, Space Ibiza NY and a long time residence at the beloved House Music Haven, Lp + Harmony, dot his resume.

       A lengthy run as the resident Dj on the syndicated Natural Essence House Show also highlights his work, with airplay in over 20 countries including many FM broadcast stations around the world.

       Kev Kruz has also gigged internationally in Geneva Switzerland, London England, Ibiza Spain, Croatia, Jamaica, Finland, Sweden and Valencia Spain to name a few. He is also a proud member of The Iklwa Brothers Music Community, a production coalition hailing from South Africa, Kev Kruz being the only American member thus far...

       His music has been played and supported by legendary Djs such as David Morales, and Deep House heavyweights such as Dixon and his new material promises even more success...

       From Afro Tech to Deep Soul, Kev Kruz is known as an energetic Dj that knows how to keep a crowd rocking...definitely one to watch.
